Custom Barbershop Website - Case Study
Brief
Fresh Web Agency had the opportunity to work with a top rated barbershop in Windsor, California. They've been rated best barbershop in Sonoma County multiple times. We helped them redesign their entire site and create a more modern and complete website experience.
Challenge
The client was not satisfied with their existing site, because it did not tell their story and it was not visually appealing.
From a design perspective, it also lacked key elements
No visual hierarchy
No proper Call to Action
User journey not well defined
Missing key content to tell their story
This is what The Gentlemen's Barbershop website looked like before we started working with them.
Solution
We offered a custom solution and crafted a unique design for their website. The project started with a discovery call to determine the client's needs and objectives. Then we developed a plan to optimize the site along with other marketing efforts. The implementation phase consisted of wireframes built out in Figma. Then we coded and built the website on Shopify using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid.
We also added in this unique animation to the website that has letters circling around the logo as you scroll down.
Result
Our final deliverable was a huge success in December. The client was ecstatic and the barbers who work at the shop also complemented the new site.
