Custom Shopify Site For Fashion Brand - Case Study

Brief

HOMMEWRK is an apparel and design brand that incorporates learning and education into the mix. We worked in tandem with founder Nicholaus Williams (Trinidad James) to craft the site that would launch for the sneaker collab with Saucony.

The Challenge

The HOMMEWRK team was launching a new sneaker in Nov 2021, accompanied by a line of clothing that included hats, pants, shirts, and hoodies.

The Founder, Trinidad James, wanted to focus on:

• Expressing the Brand and Conveying their message

• Talking about their community involvement

• Selling out sneakers, and promoting the other products

• Making the site interactive and engaging

• Building email list

The solution

We started with a wide lens approach to learn about the brand, then narrowed down to start crafting the site. Overall, we focused on:

• Brand Discovery call

• Curating different mockup wireframes for initial designs

• Custom Liquid development

• Building a custom app for a pop quiz on the site

The stack used was Figma for design, Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React for the website and custom app.

The result

We delivered a unique Shopify experience and the site was seamless. The client is happy with it and we are working on a retainer to provide monthly updates and optimizations to the site.
